White Teas
Traditionally, white teas were only produced in the Fujian province of China from a few varieties and under stringent conditions. Though that tradition still holds today, many other areas are also producing white teas. The finest white teas are plucked from young leaves and buds, then dried, sorted and graded.
White teas have a light, generally floral character. Light fruit flavored white teas have become popular as consumers have become more aware of this type of tea.
